Welcome everyone
Still not a lot has been done with the site, but I know most of you have the link now, so come check it from time to time.
So far, I wanted to take the time to remind you all of a few dates:
Practice this week will be:
Tuesday 5pm to 7pm
Wednesday is weigh-in's and I need you all at the park in LIGHT clothing (especially for you that are close to weight) by 5:30pm.
Thursday is practice from 5:30pm to 8pm
Friday is a light practice (shorts, shoulder pads, helmets) from 5pm to 6pm
Saturday is a scrimmage at Viewmont at 2pm. We need to be there by 1pm. I will post driving directions on this blog soon.
Starting next week we will go to the 3 days a week format for practice, which will always be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6pm to 8pm. As the day starts getting darker earlier, we will start practice earlier and earlier as it happens.
Please don't hesitate to call any of us coaches if you have any questions.
REMEMBER to start school off good this year guys. If you don't get good grades this year, you aren't playing next year. Being a student athlete isn't easy, but it is possible to get good grades. You are all young men now, so act like it. Treat the times you are in class as "work". When you have a break, have fun with it, but don't upset your teachers and don't skip out on homework. Do it all, study for your tests, don't be satisfied with being "average".
