East 20, Bountiful 6

Despite us not scoring a ton of points, this is by far the most satisfied game I've ever coached with you guys. I'm happy because despite the fact that Bountiful came out and ran the ball down our throats and scored on their first posession, and despite the fact that we fumbled on our first posession, NOBODY panicked, and nobody gave up. We just played the type of football we are capable of by bouncing back and ramming the ball down their defenses throat.

I was very proud of the RB's in this game. It was the most dominating performance you guys have given. You all ran and blocked very hard. It took 2 or more people to bring you down. If you had ran this way against Skyline, we come out winners. You all did a great job and I want you to remember the things you did in this game and continue it this week against West and into the play-offs.

The OL did a good job of fending off a very good defense, who brought people from all over the place. Trevor did a great job of checking his audibles and lead the team in the right direction.

Defensively, I was proud of how we forced them to adjust to what we were doing. We played very soundly and did a much better job tackling this week than we have in a while. I think the key to this game, Defensively was David Hale's interception. It took a lot of fire out of Bountiful and allowed us to capitalize on it.

One thing we need to remember is that GOOD teams continue to get better. We all need to be at practice on Tuesday, ready to go and EVERY one of us needs to work on getting better.
